Here are 25 (actually 29....always over deliver :) )free submission sites. Just click on each link and submit. Most require at least your URL and email address.

I recommend using an alternate but active email address. Many of these will send you a confirmation message which contains their advertisements. Some of them may require a reciprocal link--it's up to you whether you think its worth the time. Its only fair, they cannot provide a free service if they don't at least receive a link from your site. Consider setting up a "just links" page on your site. Here's mine as an example.

Don't over submit. If you submit to often to the same engines they may lock you out altogether, plus its a waste of time to do that anyway.
